Tyler Halterman Completes Certified Banking Information Security Officer Training

Tyler Halterman, information security support specialist, recently completed all requirements including validation testing for the Certified Banking Information Security Officer Training through industry-leader 10-D Security.

“This training will allow Tyler to become a more active participant in Guaranty Bank’s information security and control programs,” said Ken Johnston, Chief Information Security Officer. “My congratulations to him and to his dedication to Guaranty Bank.”

The CBISO training program is the only offering of its type in the industry, teaching a breadth of skills required of modern-day information security professionals working in financial services. Halterman joined Guaranty Bank in June 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity, both from Missouri State University. In addition to his new CBISO training certification, he is also a certified Log Rhythm Security Analyst and Log Rhythm Platform Administrator through LogRhythm University, the world leader in information security and event management training, as well as a Microsoft Technology Associate in Security Fundamentals.
