Jason Poe, Jesse Lomax Named Retail Banking Officers

Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Jason Poe and Jesse Lomax were recently named Retail Banking Officers.

Poe, who joined Guaranty Bank in 2017 as a mortgage lending officer, recently took over the retail operations for the bank’s 1429 E. 32nd St. location in Joplin, while Lomax joined Guaranty Bank Feb. 25 and will lead its 1510 E. Sunshine banking center in Springfield.

“Jason and Jesse both bring nearly 15 years of branch banking experience to their new roles,” said Stephanie Rutledge, director of consumer sales and customer experience. “Jason’s recent experience in residential and consumer lending will be a true asset to the Joplin community and we’re thrilled to utilize Jesse’s knowledge and customer focus to lead one of our oldest and most established banking centers. They are both great team leaders and we look forward to seeing the difference they can make for Guaranty Bank customers in the areas they serve.”

Poe began his banking career in 2005 as a special asset officer for Community Bank & Trust in Neosho. He was promoted to manager in 2010 and in 2014 joined Arvest Bank, managing two locations in Joplin. Poe joined Hometown Bank in 2017 as a branch manager before joining Guaranty Bank that same year as part of the bank’s Hometown acquisition.

Lomax joins Guaranty Bank after more than 13 years at Equity Bank, starting his career as a teller before promotions to personal banker and, most recently, bank manager in Knob Noster. He is a graduate of State Fair Community College with an associate’s degree in business and marketing.
