
Guaranty Bank Promotes Nick Lofaro to Chief Information Officer
Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Nick Lofaro, VP, was recently promoted to chief information officer.
Lofaro joined Guaranty Bank in 2014 as vice president and chief technology officer. Lofaro has more than 16 years of banking experience and nearly 25 years as an information technology professional. Prior to joining Guaranty Bank, Lofaro was vice president and chief information officer for Liberty Bank. On Feb. 28, Lofaro received the IT Executive of the Year award at Biz 417’s second annual Excellence in Technology Awards in partnership with the Association of Information Technology Professionals of the Ozarks.
“Since Nick joined Guaranty Bank in November of 2014, his role and responsibilities have continued to expand. Nick has focused on developing strategies that align our company’s IT infrastructure with our business priorities while maximizing both security and profitability,” said Carter Peters, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Guaranty Bank. “He and his team continue to streamline our business needs and processes with the appropriate technology and IT operations support.”
Lofaro holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis in network management from National American University and is a 2013 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colo. He is a Certified Information Security Professional and is the current vice president and chapter liaison of CompTIA AITP of the Ozarks, an advisory board member of the CompTIA AITP executive council and serves on the Missouri Bankers Association’s technology committee.
