Daniel Williams Joins Guaranty Bank's Accounting Department
Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Daniel Williams has rejoined the bank as Vice President and Financial Manager in its Accounting Department.
Williams first joined Guaranty Bank, then Guaranty Federal Savings & Loan, in 1999 as a teller. He left in 2002 to join accounting firm BKD and has since held various accounting positions with AG Financial Solutions, James River Church and, most recently, Phillips 66 in Bartlesville, Okla. in roles for External Reporting as well as Closing and Control.
In his new role, Williams will oversee the bank’s regulatory reporting requirements and internal control compliance as it relates to the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as help oversee the cash management, liquidity, and investment activities of the bank.
“We are very excited to welcome Daniel back to Guaranty Bank,” said Carter Peters, chief financial officer. “His skills and experience will help take Guaranty Bank’s initiatives to an even higher level.”
Williams earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Evangel University in 2002 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also active in the community, serving as a Business Department Mentor at Evangel.
